For London Fashion Week BARDOU POP up salon was certainly a big hit with top fashion and beauty bloggers at the Library private members club in St Martins Lane WC1. I had the chance to try the hair products for myself. I’m really loving the Dry Shampoo which removes and freshens oily hair while adding extra body making your last hair wash last a little bit longer ( big fan of dry shampoo). The shampoo and conditioner helps to revitalize, soften and smooth the hair by making it soft and silky. The finishing mist helps to keep everything naturally in place. Grazia magazine voted Bardou hair products the best in the UK.
Look online for products, hair & beauty services and to see generally what everyone else is saying. This brand certainly has a big following for many good reasons. Bardou.
A quick update about the fabulous fashion duo Alicia and Kay. They invited me to visit one of their morning workshops at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel & Spa and found the experience very helpful with lots of hands on friendly advice. These workshops help to reinforce, add and back up all the useful content online that clients individually subscribe too. I met some great women who’d really benefited from their service and couldnt wait to come back for another hands on future workshop.
Here’s the original post from the initial launch in February 2015.
Everyone suffers fashion disasters over the years. It just gets complicated knowing what works for you at different phases of your life when there’s so much available in the shops and online. A Government campaign Love your clothes have stated that there are an estimated £30 billion worth of clothing sitting in the backs of our wardrobes for over a year. That’s just incredible to think that many people buy clothing in the wrong size, shape, style, and colour to add to already unworn clothing in their wardrobes. I find it completely shocking that we would want to waste our money and time in this way.
Recently I visited the Hoxton Hotel in Holborn to meet Alicia and Kay the founders of aliciakaystyle.com who are absolutely passionate about utilizing clothing you currently own by finding key items within your budget to add to your wardrobe. The idea is to create a capsule collection for spring/summer and autumn/winter so eliminating any future dilemmas of what works for you in wearable clothing, footwear and accessories. It’s teaching simple styling techniques that really work for you personally and it totally makes sense and brings women together.

“A Stylish Woman Makes Fashion Her Own.” says Alicia and Kay and I tend to agree. Fashion style is completely personal and wearing clothes you feel comfortable and confidant wearing is everything no matter where it’s from or what budget you spend.
