Think I’ve used so many different types of hair gadgets over the years and each of them bring their usefulness and style to the hair. I have the straightest hair that was ever invented and was interested to see if my hair would curl easily after watching hairdresser Lucie King use the 3-in-1 Hair Hero. Well i can say it absolutely does and lasted two days! So if you’re needing a straighter for curly or afro hair, need some waves or curls then this is the perfect hair styling accessory. These images were taken in the penthouse suite at the Sanderson Hotel and Binky Felstead Made in Chelsea star having her hair lightly curled endorsing #easilockshairhero. I’ve always liked Simple and have given products like these to my beginner make-up students in the past. They are really great value, suit most skin types and cater for the very sensitive. Here’s some products you should certainly look out for this winter to add to your routine and possibly make-up kit.
Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Wipes £2.99.
Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash £3.29.
Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Make-up Remover £3.29.
Simple Kind To Skin Soothing facial Toner £2.99.
Simple To Kind Skin+ Illuminating Radiance Cream £8.99.
Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser £3.99.
Skin care is essential to keep the skin healthy. Starting out with a simple routine with some of the products above is a really good idea especially if you wear make-up. In winter the weather can be quite brutal to your skin so you need to protect and look after the largest organ of the body especially if it’s sensitive.
The Illuminating Radiance Cream £8.99 SPF15 is very new to me (the most expensive of the line up!) It does give a wonderful light reflective glow and feels creamy and nourishing on application, feels like it seals the moisture and at the same time brightens any skin tone.
The Avon Beauty Bus visited various locations in London parking up to show off the latest in make-up, skincare, fragrances and gift sets for the Christmas season. One thing about Avon they really keep up with all the trends offering the customer good value and good products. If I were just starting out in my professional life I would certainly take a look for some key products. If you’re buying for someone special I’m sure they would be extremely happy to unwrap any of these gifts.
In order of the images these are some great suggestions. Planet Spa Heros Gift Set £5 great for teachers and work colleagues, Avon Master Make-up Collection £28, Glitter Stardust nail colours usually £6 now £3 online, Luxe eye shadow compacts £10, fragrances Luck and Cherish £15, nail creations gift set £12 and COLORTREND Glitter Pots £3 to add a bit of sparkle to your nails. All perfect for sisters, friends and mothers. For more information and the Avon shop Twitter @Avon_UK

Myself ( It was pointed out that I was sitting in Kate Middleton’s chair! ) and Rebecca Barnes were invited to Richard Ward’s salon in Chelsea to see his new hair at home products for Autumn/Winter 2013. The variable depth waver £59.99 ( there are three settings ) is the latest addition to celebrity hairdresser Richard Ward’s Glamoriser hair range. This is my favorite and offers a hybrid curl, half way between a wave and crimping effect. I know with this product you will be able to achieve either real volume and fullness to the hair when applied as close to the root as possible, or just a soft summer festival downward curl, that looks a bit hippy chick.
